Eastern Rehabilitation Network provides rehabilitative therapy to seniors based upon their primary diagnosis. This includes neuroloigcal diagnoses such as stroke and Parkinson's, gait and balance disorders, and post-operative rehabilitation such as joint replacements. ERN is a founding member of Hartford Healthcare's Senior Health Solutions.
Additionally, ERN provides consulting and management services through the geriatric care continuum, including: acute and sub-acute units, skilled nursing facilities, independent living communities, assisted living facilities, Alzheimer units, outpatient centers, senior centers, community centers, and homecare. Services may include:
- develop facility-specific education and exercise programs
- manage patient utilization
- benchmark staffing levels and productivity
- manage medical denials and appeals
- provide staff orientation, training and educational programs
- manage compliance with regulatory standards and accrediting organizations.
